Reliant Insurance Adjusters are LIFESAVERS! After discovering a bit of water in my home I called a very well known plumbing company in the area. Not only did they not find the source of the water on the first day after having sent 2 plumbers, BUT they also tried to convince me that needed to replace a pipe ASAP and the cost was upwards of $38k. Within 48 hours I had 3 plumbers from the same company come out. The second day, a third plumber found a leak in my ice line that I had installed from a handy man. In the midst of all of this, the plumbing company sent 2 gentleman from a restoration company they frequently use to check out the "water damage". The first diagnosis was that I had no issues and no detectable moisture. The second gentleman's diagnosis was that the moisture reading was so high, his device couldn't read it- therefore he recommended his company rip out half of my kitchen bc my cabinetry was destroyed by water damage AND threatened that I had mold in my walls. All this to say, I was left confused, scared, and overwhelmed. Each vendor called and texted continuously only adding to those feeling. Thats where Karen and Scott from Reliant come in! I called Karen, and both her and Scott arranged to come to my home several hours later. Upon inspection of my home as well as all a thorough review of the documentation from the plumbers and restoration company, they determined that I did NOT need my kitchen removed, did NOT have mold or moisture in my walls, and that based off of the videos from the plumber I had no issues they could detect. I was shocked and relieved! I have already asked them for a more reputable plumber and look forward to getting a second opinion on my pipes! Thank you Karen and Scott! You are real life angels!!
